  1. Really awesome! I wonder how many pencils had to die for this drawing 😉 The atmosphere fits to the mindset of a 17 year old teenager…

  2. Haha .. actually I don’t even remember if I killed a pencil at all for this. But it’s true, it was pretty intense in lead. I almost drowned the paper with it.

    Hello Carolin,
I found you only recently (well, today :D) and already your drawings really strike me – they are so full of life! And this one in particular made me write this comment, finally 😀 It is full of emotions, some sort of melancholy, and life-rich feeling in the kid’s look. The silhouette of his body, his eyes, wrinkles, warps on his clothes, all the details you carefully created make this kid come to life, literally. A truly wonderful moment.
Your drawings somehow are able to catch and emphasize an emotion – some sort of joy and passion, love for life, and all this in a very an amazingly simple and honest way.
I admire your art and I wish your passion will only grow and that you will have a lot of fun with your art!

    Best,
    Branislav

  5. Ich schließe mich Branislavs Meinung an.
